In the Asia-Pacific region alone, CMC Asia of late, has been involved in numerous multi-million dollars projects, containing such undertaking as infrastructure works, hydraulic engineering, residential, commercial, and educational building, industrial buildings and structures, marine works, integrated agriculture and rural development projects.

In the Philippines, CMC has been actively committed to two infrastructure projects, specially in the last six years. In 1997, California Energy International awarded the company, as leader of the CP Consortium, the EPC Contract for the construction of the Casecnan Multipurpose Power Project in Nueva Ecija. $640 million project includes the excavation of the 28 kilometer tunnel underground power house, two intake dams and structure.
The second project is the award from Argentina's IMPSA, for the construction and rehabilitation of the $450 million Caliraya-Botocan-Kayalaan Hydropower Project in Laguna, converting the rehabilitation of the existing plants and structures and the construction of the second stage of Kalayaan.
